I’m reading a book by Katrina Blowers titled Tuning Out – My Quarter Life Crisis. I bought it last week and started reading it recently. It’s a travelogue about her going for a very long vacation from her normal every morning job as an accomplished radio presenter in Australia. I just finished chapter 4 and so far the stories of her journey is interesting (for me). And actually I’m doing some research and looking for examples on how to write a travelogue.

Some of my crew asked me once, ‘Third (my rank on board), why don’t you write a book about your travels so far?’ Well, I just smiled and went to my cabin. Once laying down in my bed, I started to think about their question again and again. After I signed off from the vessel, I started doing some research on how to write a travelogue. I read some books on them, surfing the internet looking for some examples on these thing. And it makes me planning to write a book about my travels during my sea services before starting from my training until today. But it will be started once I’m finished with my recent novel writing project, which I hope will due next year (at the latest!).
