I watched a movie starred Ethan Hawke called ‘Before Sunset’. I love the movies, and I watched it more than five times. I don’t know why but I really loves the simpleness of the movie which was basically, it all happened within one to two hours before sunset (maybe for those who’ve watched, might not be thinking the same – I mean for liking the movie itself). They would just talk and talk and keep on talking about so many things while walking through the city of Paris. Plus, I really wanted to go to Paris! Maybe some other chance, I think.
Actually, I just wanted to say about one sentence that said and used by Ethan Hawke in the beginning of the movie. He said that there is one writer once told that, ‘In writing a book, we see the world from our tiny keyhole…’ I guess so. I’m sorry couldn’t remember all the words from the sentence being said. But, it makes me think that it’s true. You see, when you write something, you are free to think beyond everything around you. Like there would be no boundaries and I can say that there are no limit for it. You (or your characters) can go anywhere and as far as the imagination can goes. And that’s why we have books on fiction, science fiction, fantasy and horror.
And I really do think that once we’re reading those books, it’s like we’re helping the writers in their imaginations realization. Use your imagination, there is no limit and nobody can stop you from your own imagination.
